Chaparro AFC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Gorgonta the free kick. Robustiano Abascal took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Reynaldo Pueblo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Robustiano Abascal showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Flavio Tauro in the 38th minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 41st minute, Flavio Tauro managed to get in a good position for a shot. Gorgonta's supporters rose to their feet, but Flavio Tauro was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Robustiano Abascal breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Reynaldo Pueblo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 43rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 45 minutes into the match, Gorgonta's Flavio Tauro sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Robustiano Abascal narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 49 minutes into the match, Chaparro AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Flavio Tauro came free, but Robustiano Abascal reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-1 at half-time.

Flavio Tauro received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 56th minute. Robustiano Abascal tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Robustiano Abascal came out of the goal and Reynaldo Pueblo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Reynaldo Pueblos short, quick shot in the 85thth minute got Robustiano Abascal to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Flavio Tauro in the 88th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Robustiano Abascal saved Chaparro AFC from getting behind. Chaparro AFC's Siro Evarado got his second yellow card of the match in the 89th minute. The referee ordered Siro Evarado off the ground. Siro Evarado hit a great freekick 89 minutes into the match. With a little luck, Chaparro AFC's Robustiano Abascal got control of the ball when Reynaldo Pueblo tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 96th minute Flavio Tauro shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Robustiano Abascal saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Robustiano Abascal made a fantastic save in the 97th minute, when Reynaldo Pueblo sent off a good shot on target. When the referee blew the final whistle, Chaparro AFC could leave the field as winners, despite Gorgonta having more of the ball for most of the match.
