Virgilio Batista fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 16th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Pablo Amaya having to interfere. Pablo Amaya didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Elpidio Pere went, in the 18th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. Pablo Amaya made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Virgilio Batista in the 21st minute of play. Elpidio Pere received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 28th minute. Pablo Amaya tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Elpidio Pere had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 31st minute. Yurucuá AFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Virgilio Batista was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 69thth minute of the game Elpidio Pere who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but PACHANO FC's Pablo Amaya was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball.
