Björn Söderström did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 1-0 to the left of a surprised Epifanio Gimenez 3 minutes into the match. In the 6th minute Lino Elazar shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Epifanio Gimenez saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Solideros FC's Epifanio Gimenez played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Björn Söderström in the 8th minute of play. Epifanio Gimenez was out of position in the 10 minute of play, and Björn Söderström capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Björn Söderström really showed his touch with that goal: 2-0. With a little luck, Solideros FC's Epifanio Gimenez got control of the ball when Lino Elazar tried to sneak it across the goal line. 19 minutes into the match, Solideros FC's goalkeeper Epifanio Gimenez had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Lino Elazar. Epifanio Gimenez made a fantastic save in the 22nd minute, when Lino Elazar sent off a good shot on target. 25 minutes into the game, one of Solideros FC:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Enrique Pero kicked well hit freekick during the 32nd minute of the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Lino Elazar in the 33rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Epifanio Gimenez saved Solideros FC from getting behind. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Aquiles Danel during the 44th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 44th match minute, Solideros FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Aquiles Danel to maneuver through the defense. Lino Elazar received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 48th minute. Epifanio Gimenez tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

53 minutes into the match, Solideros FC's goal looked a bit too open when Lino Elazar came free, but Epifanio Gimenez reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 56 minutes into the match, Ernesto Raymundo notched a goal, 3-0, to the right of Solideros FC's Epifanio Gimenez. Epifanio Gimenez was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. 60 minutes into the match, Solideros FC's goal looked a bit too open when Björn Söderström came free, but Epifanio Gimenez reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Epifanio Gimenez showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Björn Söderström in the 62nd minute of the match. 63 minutes into the game, Lino Elazar cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 4-0. Epifanio Gimenez was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 67th match minute, Solideros FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Enrique Pero to maneuver through the defense. Lino Elazar took the ball and in the 69 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Epifanio Gimenez. Epifanio Gimenez dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 5-0. 6-0 became the score in the 73rd minute when Björn Söderström elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. Epifanio Gimenez made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Björn Söderström in the 79th minute of play. Epifanio Gimenez showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Lino Elazar in the 81st minute of the match. Solideros FC's Bernabe Manilan got a good chance for a goal in the 82nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In a very dangerous position, a player in Savia fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 83rd minute. Penalty! 6-1 came through a penalty shot after 86 played minutes, when Solideros FC:s Augusto Criston calmly waited for Savia:s goalkeeper to move before he rolled in the ball by the right post. A collision led to Solideros FC getting a freekick after 94 minutes play. Augusto Criston hit a great ball. Lino Elazar fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 95th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Epifanio Gimenez having to interfere. Epifanio Gimenez made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rosendo Ceandro in the 97th minute of play. When the referee ended the match the Savia players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
