Spectators: 7204 (Terracing: 5405, Seating: 1656, VIP seats: 143) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Ernesto Montes started the match with the kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ernesto Montes in the 4th minute of play forced Animas's goalkeeper Amador Elia to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Boca Juniors's Gualterio Padro proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 5th minute of the match, managed to save Boca Juniors from getting a goal against them. After 8 played minutes Boca Juniors got a freekick which was hit by Cecilio Berto. Animas's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Cesar Sugar in the 11th minute. A collision led to Animas getting a freekick after 11 minutes play. Efrain Louis hit a great ball. Ernesto Montes received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 14th minute. Amador Elia tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Cecilio Berto sent away a hard shot on goal in the 16th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 19th minute, Efrain Louis hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 24 minutes into the game, Boca Juniors's Ernesto Montes nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Amador Elia made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. After some fancy dribbling in the 26th minute, Ernesto Montes managed to get in a good position for a shot. Boca Juniors's supporters rose to their feet, but Ernesto Montes was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Amador Elia breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 33 minutes into the match, Boca Juniors's goal looked a bit too open when Edgardo Muno came free, but Gualterio Padro reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Gualterio Padro stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Cesar Sugar's shot from short distance in the 36th minute. After 37 played minutes Animas got a freekick which was hit by Tomas Mendebal. Godfredo Maties's shot from long distance was a real pearl which went to the right and just passed Amador Elia - 0-2 was put on the score board in the 38th minute. With a little luck, Boca Juniors's Gualterio Padro got control of the ball when Placido Astigar tried to sneak it across the goal line. The audience was convinced that Lisandro Herena's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Gualterio Padro was relentless in the 45th minute of the game. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 1-2 lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Lisandro Herena to make the kick off. After 53 played minutes Boca Juniors got a freekick which was hit by Arsenio Sidoro. Lisandro Herena kicked well hit freekick during the 56th minute of the match. Gualterio Padro took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Edgardo Muno, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 58th minute, Arsenio Sidoro hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After some fancy dribbling in the 64th minute, Lisandro Herena managed to get in a good position for a shot. Animas's supporters rose to their feet, but Lisandro Herena was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Gualterio Padro breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. When Edgardo Muno fell near the penalty area in the 72nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Animas's protests and gave Edgardo Muno a yellow card for diving instead. In the 73rd match minute, Animas was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Edgardo Muno to maneuver through the defense. After 75 played minutes Boca Juniors got a freekick which was hit by Arsenio Sidoro. Edgardo Muno blasted a shot towards the goal in the 77th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Gualterio Padro having to make a save. Gualterio Padro stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Edgardo Muno's shot from short distance in the 81st minute. When the match clock showed 81 minutes, the score became 3-2 when Edgardo Muno sped through Boca Juniors's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Gualterio Padro. 84 minutes into the game, Animas's Lisandro Herena nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Gualterio Padro made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 4-2. Cecilio Berto fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 89th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Amador Elia having to interfere. Gualterio Padro made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lisandro Herena in the 92nd minute of play. Lisandro Herena struck a weak shot in the 94th minute. Gualterio Padro didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Animas. The supporters of Animas booed when Boca Juniors was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 94 match minutes in a wonderful position. Arsenio Sidoro didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Lisandro Herena in the 98th minute of play forced Boca Juniors's goalkeeper Gualterio Padro to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When the referee ended the match the Animas players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
