Herminio Virila fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 4th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Albino Donio having to interfere. Benito Txema received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 6th minute. Albino Donio tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With a little luck, fe de racing's Albino Donio got control of the ball when Benito Txema tried to sneak it across the goal line. fe de racing's defense didn't have a chance, in the 13th minute, when Herminio Virila scored to the left of an out of position Albino Donio, making the score, 1-0. After 20 played minutes fe de racing got a freekick which was hit by Lucas Franco. After a rather tough play, fe de racing's Bótólfur Bjarmason got a free kick in the 26th minute. In the 27th minute, Herminio Virila fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. In the 27th match minute, fe de racing was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Lucas Franco to maneuver through the defense. 29 minutes into the game, Lucas Franco was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. fe de racing's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Alpargatas FC the free kick. Lucas Franco kicked well hit freekick during the 29th minute of the match. Gianni Trapani received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 31st minute. Albino Donio tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 34 minutes into the match, fe de racing's goalkeeper Albino Donio had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Benito Txema. Herminio Virila fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 36th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Albino Donio having to interfere. Bótólfur Bjarmason sent away a hard shot on goal in the 41st minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Santo Obeko made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bótólfur Bjarmason in the 41st minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Herminio Virila in the 48th minute of play forced fe de racing's goalkeeper Albino Donio to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 49th minute of the match Alpargatas FC got a corner. fe de racing's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Benito Txema ran over to the corner to take the kick. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.

In the 55th minute, Herminio Virila made a precise shot to the right of Albino Donio. fe de racing's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-0. The supporters of Alpargatas FC booed when fe de racing was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 59 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ildefonso Precioso didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 66th minute, Herminio Virila ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Albino Donio was frozen by the shot and now it was 4-0. Herminio Virila sent away a hard shot on goal in the 69th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. fe de racing made a substitution. Ermegildo Maidana replaced Leo Cayo. Alpargatas FC's Dalmacio Maties was substituted for Zeledon Abalos. If Benito Txema had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 82nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A collision led to fe de racing getting a freekick after 83 minutes play. Casimiro Lizer hit a great ball. The audience was convinced that Gianni Trapani's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Albino Donio was relentless in the 84th minute of the game. Bótólfur Bjarmason received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 89th minute. Santo Obeko tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Faustino Bilintx recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 92nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 94 minutes, Ermegildo Maidana mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the fe de racing and the Alpargatas FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. When the referee ended the match the Alpargatas FC players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
