In the 24th minute, Rogelio Licerio hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Severo Tabby fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 33rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rodrigo Lando having to interfere. After 76 minutes, Antonio Luken mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the RECREATIVO FOOTBALL CLUB and the Club Modelo Lomas players grew even worse after the yellow card.
