The audience was convinced that Cirilo Perfecto's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Venancio Tibalt was relentless in the 32nd minute of the game. When Fulgencio Llanos fell near the penalty area in the 32nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Grand Bourg City's protests and gave Fulgencio Llanos a yellow card for diving instead. In the 32nd match minute, Grand Bourg City was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Fulgencio Llanos to maneuver through the defense. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Cirilo Perfecto in the 44th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Venancio Tibalt saved Grand Bourg City from getting behind. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.

Venancio Tibalt didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Cirilo Perfecto went, in the 54th minute, to the upper right corner, 3-0 was the resulting score. With a little luck, Reartes's Ildefonso Roldanillo got control of the ball when Lauro de Medeiros tried to sneak it across the goal line. Ildefonso Roldanillo was a little too slow when Lauro de Medeiros got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 60th minute. The score was now 3-1. Through an outstanding action, after 65 minutes, Ildefonso Roldanillo successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. The supporters of Grand Bourg City booed when Reartes was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 71 match minutes in a wonderful position. Igor Emeterio didn't get a good kick on the ball. Lauro de Medeiros sent away a hard shot on goal in the 76th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 80th minute Cirilo Perfecto shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Venancio Tibalt saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 81 played minutes Grand Bourg City got a freekick which was hit by Lucas Uhin. Elvio Felipo blasted a shot towards the goal in the 82nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Venancio Tibalt having to make a save. Venancio Tibalt showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cirilo Perfecto in the 83rd minute of the match. 85 minutes into the match, Grand Bourg City's goal looked a bit too open when Cirilo Perfecto came free, but Venancio Tibalt reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 86th minute, Jimeno Estefan got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Venancio Tibalt came out of the goal in the 91st minute to try and stop a shot by Reartes's Cirilo Perfecto. But to his dismay, Cirilo Perfecto quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 5-1. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Reartes had won after a very even match.
