With his leg Feliciano Loiola managed to avoid a goal in the 17thth minute, when Milton Casco AC's Andres Urre fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Andres Urres short, quick shot in the 18thth minute got Feliciano Loiola to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Andres Urre who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 20thth minute tested the skills of Feliciano Loiola when he managed to save the team from getting behind. A hard shot 22 in the game by Andres Urre from a close distance when the talented Feliciano Loiola managed to make a qualified save. Herrera's players were relieved. In the 25th minute, Isidoro Valiente ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Feliciano Loiola was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-0. In the 45th minute, Andres Urre got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 48th minute Andres Urre shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Feliciano Loiola saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Andres Urre stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Feliciano Loiola took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Andres Urre, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The supporters of Milton Casco AC booed when Herrera was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 53 match minutes in a wonderful position. Artemio Lehior didn't get a good kick on the ball. Milton Casco AC's Didier Rits proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 66th minute of the match, managed to save Milton Casco AC from getting a goal against them. Arnaldo Sugoi recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 69th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When Milton Casco AC's Andres Urre in the 70th minute got a chance for a shot 70th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Kevinn Moran blasted a shot towards the goal in the 79th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Didier Rits having to make a save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Andres Urre in the 81st minute of play forced Herrera's goalkeeper Feliciano Loiola to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Andres Urre recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 84th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Cesar Michael received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 86th minute. Didier Rits tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The audience thought a goal was coming when Antonio Goito got free with Didier Rits in the 92nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Andres Urre sent away a hard shot on goal in the 94th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Andres Urre came up free with the goalie in the 97th minute, the Milton Casco AC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Andres Urre couldn't finish the play. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Milton Casco AC fans cheered their team off the field, for while Herrera had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
