Ambrosio Bertin was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. 15 minutes into the match, Dixonville AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Maximino Turi came free, but Ambrosio Bertin reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Andres Tuste in the 17th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Ambrosio Bertin saved Dixonville AFC from getting behind. Andres Tuste sent away a hard shot on goal in the 26th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 33 played minutes Dixonville AFC got a freekick which was hit by Benedicto Ibon. Danilo Iraitz hit a great freekick 36 minutes into the match. Anibal Montes took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 37th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Ambrosio Bertin. Dixonville AFC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. After having played for 39 minutes, Andres Tuste managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Independiente de Dorrego's supporters crossed their fingers, but Andres Tuste was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 41st minute Andres Tuste shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ambrosio Bertin saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 43 played minutes Independiente de Dorrego got a freekick which was hit by Valentin Gaitan. Nestor Vachon sent away a hard shot on goal in the 44th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. An unexpected shot in the 48th minute by Danilo Iraitz got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side.

The wind increased when Andres Tuste made the kick off in the second half. A collision led to Dixonville AFC getting a freekick after 54 minutes play. Clemente Nerio hit a great ball. If Andres Tuste had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 56th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Danilo Iraitz struck a weak shot in the 59th minute. Marcial Primo didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Dixonville AFC. After 69 played minutes Independiente de Dorrego got a freekick which was hit by Remigio Kimetz. In the 70th minute of the match Benedicto Ibon shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Marcial Primo showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Maximino Turi in the 72ndth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Ambrosio Bertin, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Ambrosio Bertin made a fantastic save in the 78th minute, when Maximino Turi sent off a good shot on target. Dixonville AFC's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Andres Tuste 79 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 0-3. 83 minutes into the match, Dixonville AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Andres Tuste came free, but Ambrosio Bertin reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ambrosio Bertin stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Andres Tuste's shot from short distance in the 84th minute. After 87 played minutes Dixonville AFC got a freekick which was hit by Nestor Vachon. Ambrosio Bertin made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Andres Tuste in the 90th minute of play. Danilo Iraitz hit a great freekick 90 minutes into the match. Andres Tuste fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 98th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ambrosio Bertin having to interfere. The Independiente de Dorrego supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Independiente de Dorrego would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
