The supporters of Peralta booed when Stayle was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 8 match minutes in a wonderful position. Fernan Guillelmo didn't get a good kick on the ball. With a little luck, Stayle's Lino Damario got control of the ball when Mario Lope tried to sneak it across the goal line. A collision led to Stayle getting a freekick after 18 minutes play. Rosendo Ramond hit a great ball. 20 minutes into the match, Peralta's goal looked a bit too open when Jacobo Natal came free, but Baltasar Charro reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Mario Lope struck a weak shot in the 26th minute. Lino Damario didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Peralta. Lino Damario took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mario Lope, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Mario Lope sent away a hard shot on goal in the 30th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 33 minutes into the match, Peralta's Lucas Panpili sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Lino Damario narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The supporters of Peralta booed when Stayle was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 35 match minutes in a wonderful position. Virgilio Medina didn't get a good kick on the ball. Baltasar Charro showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jacobo Natal, who was totally free with the ball in the 46th minute. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

When Peralta's Lucas Panpili in the 53rd minute got a chance for a shot 53rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Stayle's goalie prevented a goal. Mario Lope received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 55th minute. Lino Damario tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Mario Lope sent away a hard shot on goal in the 59th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 60th minute the ball was on its way in behind Stayle's goalkeeper Lino Damario, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Lucas Panpili recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 64th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Mario Lope blasted a shot towards the goal in the 65th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Lino Damario having to make a save. Stayle's Rosendo Ramond suffered a sprained foot after 70 minutes and couldn't finish the game. Arturo Kepa hit a great freekick 71 minutes into the match. If Romeo Iraitz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 74th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 75th minute, Jeremias Senon got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 76th match minute, Peralta was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Melquiades Chaime to maneuver through the defense. In the 84th minute Mario Lope shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lino Damario saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Peralta's zone, Romeo Iraitz stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Baltasar Charro came out of the goal and Romeo Iraitz tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After having played for 91 minutes, Lucas Panpili managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Peralta's supporters crossed their fingers, but Lucas Panpili was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Stayle's Lino Damario played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mario Lope in the 92nd minute of play. Lucas Panpili's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Lino Damario read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 94th minute of play. In the 94th minute, Fernan Guillelmo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Stayle's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
