With a couple of smart ball manuevers Hugo Rozarius in the 7th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Samuel Bertol saved Deportivo La Plata from getting behind. After some careless play in the Deportivo La Plata defense, Hugo Rozarius kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Samuel Bertol. The Deportivo La Plata fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Samuel Bertol should have stopped the shot. Pascual Frans struck a weak shot in the 22nd minute. Samuel Bertol didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Saguier. Pascual Frans's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Samuel Bertol read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 23rd minute of play. A sloppy throw-in by Edgard Ignado in the 28th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Deportivo La Plata's Hugo Perez. After having played for 29 minutes, Pascual Frans managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Saguier's supporters crossed their fingers, but Pascual Frans was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 40th minute, Yin Mo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 41 minutes into the game, one of Deportivo La Plata:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Edgard Ignado shot the penalty kick by force right in the crossbar. No goal. Samuel Bertol was a little too slow when Hugo Rozarius got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 45th minute. The score was now 2-0.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Timoteo Hanni to make the kick off. 54 minutes into the match, Deportivo La Plata's goal looked a bit too open when Pascual Frans came free, but Samuel Bertol reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Vladimiro Tadzio kicked well hit freekick during the 54th minute of the match. Timoteo Hanni fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 56th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Anacleto Abeitia having to interfere. With a little luck, Saguier's Anacleto Abeitia got control of the ball when Timoteo Hanni tried to sneak it across the goal line.
