Anibal Javiar showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Arnaldo Onofre in the 16th minute of the match. After 18 played minutes lafayette got a freekick which was hit by Amadeo Paez. lafayette's Anibal Javiar played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Arnaldo Onofre in the 19th minute of play. Rodolfo Veiga charged in rather forcefully in the 24th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Rodolfo Veiga the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 24 played minutes lafayette got a freekick which was hit by Rodolfo Veiga. 32 minutes into the match, lafayette's Francisco Lobo sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Bernardino Ladio narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 34 minutes into the match, Francisco Lobo had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Bernardino Ladio. River Plate's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Francisco Lobo was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. A hard shot 39 in the game by Rodolfo Veiga from a close distance when the talented Bernardino Ladio managed to make a qualified save. River Plate's players were relieved. Bernardino Ladio made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tiburcio Hurko in the 43rd minute of play.

Francisco Lobo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 52nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bernardino Ladio having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Elpidio Lucila in the 54th minute of play forced River Plate's goalkeeper Bernardino Ladio to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 楚凡适 recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 55th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 58th minute, Constantino Gar ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Anibal Javiar was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. If Francisco Lobo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 62nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some fancy dribbling in the 74th minute, Francisco Lobo managed to get in a good position for a shot. lafayette's supporters rose to their feet, but Francisco Lobo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Bernardino Ladio breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Anibal Javiar made a fantastic save in the 77th minute, when Constantino Gar sent off a good shot on target. Constantino Gar could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 80th minute of the match, but Anibal Javiar made a huge save. Anibal Javiar took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Justino Eliu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 90th minute, Gustavo Ler got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. lafayette had played much better football throughout.
