With a little luck, Estudiantes de la plaza's Anastasio Chap got control of the ball when Roberto Rodriguez tried to sneak it across the goal line. If Danilo Tonete had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 16th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 24 minutes into the match, Estudiantes de la plaza's goal looked a bit too open when Federico Seguinus came free, but Anastasio Chap reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.
