Anastasio Chap made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ernesto Montrel in the 16th minute of play. 18 minutes into the game, Monigotes AFC's Ernesto Montrel nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Anastasio Chap made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. Monigotes AFC's Edgard Pirmin proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 22nd minute of the match, managed to save Monigotes AFC from getting a goal against them. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Edgard Pirmin prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Delmar Elorri struck a weak shot in the 33rd minute. Edgard Pirmin didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Estudiantes de la plaza. Delmar Elorris short, quick shot in the 40thth minute got Edgard Pirmin to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Ildefonso Elorri's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 41stth minute, Edgard Pirmin skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. 43 minutes into the game, Ernesto Montrel cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-2. Anastasio Chap was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. The Estudiantes de la plaza players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Monigotes AFC were winning 1-2.

After some careless play in the Monigotes AFC defense, Danilo Tonete kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Edgard Pirmin. The Monigotes AFC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Edgard Pirmin should have stopped the shot. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Danilo Tonete in the 57th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Edgard Pirmin prevented the ball from getting in the gole. With 68 minutes on the clock, Rafael Urre commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. The supporters of Monigotes AFC booed when Estudiantes de la plaza was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 69 match minutes in a wonderful position. Rafael Urre didn't get a good kick on the ball. Delmar Elorri fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 92nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Edgard Pirmin having to interfere. When Danilo Tonete got free in front of the goal in the 94th minute he wasn't very focused and chipped the ball just over the goal. Edgard Pirmin was delighted since he was out of position and the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. With a little luck, Estudiantes de la plaza's Anastasio Chap got control of the ball when Ernesto Montrel tried to sneak it across the goal line.
