Berdier FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Delmar Elorri was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. Delmar Elorri recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 19th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. With a little luck, Estudiantes de la plaza's Anastasio Chap got control of the ball when Fabio Marcones tried to sneak it across the goal line. Danilo Tonete sent away a hard shot on goal in the 21st minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. After 24 played minutes Berdier FC got a freekick which was hit by Segundo Eriz. Teofilo Lano took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 26th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Lisandro Sergi. Berdier FC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. In the 28th minute, Ariel Jaume hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Anastasio Chap made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Patricio Demesio in the 30th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Berdier FC's zone, Delmar Elorri stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Lisandro Sergi came out of the goal and Delmar Elorri tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The audience was convinced that Delmar Elorri's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Lisandro Sergi was relentless in the 39th minute of the game. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Danilo Tonete to make the kick off. Delmar Elorri fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 68th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Lisandro Sergi having to interfere. Delmar Elorri who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 69thth minute tested the skills of Lisandro Sergi when he managed to save the team from getting behind. In the 73rd minute Santo Frans shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Anastasio Chap saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 77 minutes into the game, Ariel Jaume was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Berdier FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Estudiantes de la plaza the free kick. In the 77th match minute, Berdier FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ariel Jaume to maneuver through the defense. After 79 played minutes, Estudiantes de la plaza's Rafael Urre shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Lisandro Sergi came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Estudiantes de la plaza reached it. Delmar Elorri received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 80th minute. Lisandro Sergi tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Anastasio Chap came out of the goal in the 87th minute to try and stop a shot by Berdier FC's Fabio Marcones. But to his dismay, Fabio Marcones quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-1. Silverio Guillelme kicked well hit freekick during the 91st minute of the match.
