The supporters of Estudiantes de la plaza booed when Monigotes AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 11 match minutes in a wonderful position. Nicanor Mino didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 24th minute, Honorio Izotz hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Delmar Elorri in the 43rd minute of play forced Monigotes AFC's goalkeeper Edgard Pirmin to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Ernesto Montrel got free with Anastasio Chap in the 46th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After 47 minutes of play, Monigotes AFC's Albano Vargas made it 3-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. In the 73rdth minute of the game Danilo Tonete who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Monigotes AFC's Edgard Pirmin was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball.
