The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Atletico Mangala's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Fabio Montez 3 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 1-0. When Victoriano Gaizkine came up free with the goalie in the 14th minute, the Atletico Mangala fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Victoriano Gaizkine couldn't finish the play. When Victoriano Gaizkine fell near the penalty area in the 22nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Atletico Mangala's protests and gave Victoriano Gaizkine a yellow card for diving instead. In the 22nd match minute, Atletico Mangala was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Victoriano Gaizkine to maneuver through the defense. A collision led to Atletico Mangala getting a freekick after 23 minutes play. Nico Nardi hit a great ball. Chorro AFC's attentive Eduardo Orozco managed to snatch the ball when Denis Odilon made a throw-in in the 24th minute of the game. The supporters of Chorro AFC booed when Atletico Mangala was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 25 match minutes in a wonderful position. Victoriano Gaizkine didn't get a good kick on the ball. Chorro AFC's Fabio Montez got a good chance for a goal in the 26th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When Victoriano Gaizkine came up free with the goalie in the 28th minute, the Atletico Mangala fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Victoriano Gaizkine couldn't finish the play. With a little luck, Atletico Mangala's Dionisio Llorienzo got control of the ball when Fabio Montez tried to sneak it across the goal line. Fabio Montez might have been able to make a better finish in the 31st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Dionisio Llorienzo. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Fabio Montez ran back to his position shaking his head. When Fabio Montez came up free with the goalie in the 34th minute, the Chorro AFC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Fabio Montez couldn't finish the play. 36 minutes into the match, Chorro AFC's Fabio Montez sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Dionisio Llorienzo narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Fabio Montez sent away a hard shot on goal in the 46th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The wind increased when Victoriano Gaizkine made the kick off in the second half. An unexpectedly hard shot by Fabio Montez in the 54th minute of play forced Atletico Mangala's goalkeeper Dionisio Llorienzo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Dionisio Llorienzo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Eduardo Orozco in the 56th minute of the match. Burhan Tunalı blasted a shot towards the goal in the 59th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Dionisio Llorienzo having to make a save. Rogelio Dunixi received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 61st minute. Dionisio Llorienzo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 69th minute, Fabio Montez managed to get in a good position for a shot. Chorro AFC's supporters rose to their feet, but Fabio Montez was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Dionisio Llorienzo breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Fabio Montez received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 82nd minute. Dionisio Llorienzo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Atletico Mangala's zone, Fabio Montez stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Dionisio Llorienzo came out of the goal and Fabio Montez tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Eduardo Orozco charged in rather forcefully in the 91st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Eduardo Orozco the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Atletico Mangala booed when Chorro AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 92 match minutes in a wonderful position. Eduardo Orozco didn't get a good kick on the ball. Chorro AFC's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
