PONTEVEDRA CF's supporters crossed their fingers, but Albano Cresitobalo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Patrick Albuquerque showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Miromir Maziarski, who was totally free with the ball in the 19th minute. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Inocencio Lop during the 20th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to PONTEVEDRA CF getting a freekick after 20 minutes play. Inocencio Lop hit a great ball. Lukas Bösch received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 32nd minute. Eddie Samuelsson tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 39th match minute, PONTEVEDRA CF was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ambrosio Santxol to maneuver through the defense. Lukas Bösch succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 3-0 in the 43rd playminute. Af the end of the first half the score was 3-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Lukas Bösch to strike the kick off in the second half. After some fancy dribbling in the 51st minute, Generoso Bernal managed to get in a good position for a shot.
