With a couple of smart ball manuevers Angelino Gelacio in the 11th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Julio Jorrin saved Juarense FC from getting behind. Alejo Ostadar's late challenge caught a El Marpla FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Alejo Ostadar helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of El Marpla FC booed when Juarense FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 14 match minutes in a wonderful position. Alejo Ostadar didn't get a good kick on the ball. Julio Jorrin showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Angelino Gelacio, who was totally free with the ball in the 16th minute. If Clemente Emeterio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 17th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Generoso Veto thought of kicking away a contribution in front of goal but messed it up so badly that the ball went to the right of an astonished Julio Jorrin, a very annoying self made goal in the 50th minute which led to 0-3. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-3 lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Angelino Gelacio to make the kick off.
