The audience was convinced that Paolo Romelio's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Damaso Idacio was relentless in the 28th minute of the game. Serafin Bernat tried to clear up in front of the goal, but didn't succeed and rather the ball rolled into the own goal to the right of a despaired Damaso Idacio. In the 65th minute Francisco Sendoa shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Damaso Idacio saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.
