Honorio Jerano fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 3rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mario Arnas having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jesus Lugo in the 4th minute of play forced Barreña FC's goalkeeper Felipe Reyes to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 6th minute Gerardo Cortez shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Felipe Reyes saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 8th play minute Honorio Jerano came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Mario Arnas. 1-0. Honorio Jerano succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 2-0 in the 12th playminute. Mario Arnas was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Antonio Amor showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 3-0 in the 15 minute of play. Felipe Reyes made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jesus Lugo in the 20th minute of play. Honorio Jerano hit a great freekick 23 minutes into the match. A collision led to Barreña FC getting a freekick after 24 minutes play. Miguel Bladi hit a great ball. In the 26th minute, Antonio Amor hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 29th minute the ball was on its way in behind Barreña FC's goalkeeper Felipe Reyes, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Froilan Otsando's late challenge caught a Barreña FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Froilan Otsando helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Belgrano's Froilan Otsando got a free kick in the 31st minute. With an all-out effort, Barreña FC's Mario Arnas threw himself towards the right post 34 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Antonio Amor, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Honorio Jerano's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 35thth minute, Mario Arnas skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 40th minute, Honorio Jerano managed to get in a good position for a shot. Barreña FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Honorio Jerano was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Mario Arnas breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Rodrigo Marko kicked well hit freekick during the 41st minute of the match. In the 44th minute, Esteve Galsino hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 45th minute of the match Honorio Jerano sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Mario Arnas skillfully saved the ball. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Honorio Jerano was the one to do the kick off. 56 minutes into the game, Esteve Galsino was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Belgrano's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Barreña FC the free kick. After 56 played minutes Belgrano got a freekick which was hit by Esteve Galsino. If Antonio Amor had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 58th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When the match clock showed 60 minutes, the score became 5-0 when Antonio Amor sped through Belgrano's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Mario Arnas. Mario Arnas took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Honorio Jerano, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Antonio Amor in the 69th minute of play forced Belgrano's goalkeeper Mario Arnas to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Esteve Galsino hit a great freekick 71 minutes into the match. Felipe Reyes was a little too slow when Rodrigo Marko got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 74th minute. The score was now 5-1. Felipe Reyes showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jesus Lugo in the 78th minute of the match. Mario Arnas stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Honorio Jerano's shot from short distance in the 83rd minute. If Antonio Amor had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 92nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When the referee ended the match the Barreña FC players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
