The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. When Hermengildo Farias came up free with the goalie in the 3rd minute, the Sommeliers de Ligamentos fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Hermengildo Farias couldn't finish the play. Douglas Haig's Diego Loramendi played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Danilo Refugio in the 5th minute of play. After 9 played minutes Douglas Haig got a freekick which was hit by Edelmiro Presebal. In the 10thth minute of the game Dante Gutierrez who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Douglas Haig's Diego Loramendi was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. With a little luck, Douglas Haig's Diego Loramendi got control of the ball when Danilo Refugio tried to sneak it across the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Dante Gutierrez in the 13th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Diego Loramendi saved Douglas Haig from getting behind. When Danilo Refugio came up free with the goalie in the 14th minute, the Sommeliers de Ligamentos fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Danilo Refugio couldn't finish the play. Honorato Lucado recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 16th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Diego Loramendi showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Dante Gutierrez, who was totally free with the ball in the 17th minute. The crowd rose to their feet as Sommeliers de Ligamentos's Oscar Mincho slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Diego Loramendi. That made the score 2-0 after 24 minutes of play. Dante Gutierrezs short, quick shot in the 27thth minute got Diego Loramendi to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. The supporters of Sommeliers de Ligamentos booed when Douglas Haig was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 29 match minutes in a wonderful position. Osvaldo Vincent didn't get a good kick on the ball. 31 minutes into the game, Danilo Refugio recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Diego Loramendi. Danilo Refugio showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 3-0. The Sommeliers de Ligamentos fans' excitement grew in the 34th match minute when Sommeliers de Ligamentos's Dante Gutierrez looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 4-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. In the 40th minute, Oscar Mincho fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Diego Loramendi, passed just outside the right post. When the match clock showed 40 minutes, the score became 5-0 when Dante Gutierrez sped through Douglas Haig's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Diego Loramendi. Dante Gutierrez who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 44thth minute tested the skills of Diego Loramendi when he managed to save the team from getting behind. The crowd rose to their feet as Romulo Frantzes kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Diego Loramendi. That made the score 6-0 in the 45 minute of play. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 6-0 at half-time.

The wind increased when Honorato Lucado made the kick off in the second half. In the 52nd minute Dante Gutierrez shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Diego Loramendi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Oscar Mincho in the 53rd minute of play forced Douglas Haig's goalkeeper Diego Loramendi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 54 minutes, Lucio Bartolome mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Douglas Haig and the Sommeliers de Ligamentos players grew even worse after the yellow card. Lucio Bartolome hit a great freekick 54 minutes into the match. When the match clock showed 55 minutes, the score became 7-0 when Dante Gutierrez sped through Douglas Haig's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Diego Loramendi. An unexpectedly hard shot by Dante Gutierrez in the 59th minute of play forced Douglas Haig's goalkeeper Diego Loramendi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Diego Loramendi took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Danilo Refugio, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 64thth minute of the game Dante Gutierrez who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Douglas Haig's Diego Loramendi was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Diego Loramendi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dante Gutierrez in the 65th minute of play. When Sommeliers de Ligamentos's Dante Gutierrez in the 66th minute got a chance for a shot 66th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Dante Gutierrez in the 75th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Diego Loramendi prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Diego Loramendi didn't succeed to prevent the ball from going into goal when Sommeliers de Ligamentos's Dante Gutierrez shot an unexpected shot in the crossbar's under edge and made 9-0 in the ordered_time% minute. When Sommeliers de Ligamentos's Dante Gutierrez in the 81st minute got a chance for a shot 81st didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Romulo Frantzes scored 11-0 in the 87th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Diego Loramendi, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Diego Loramendi took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Dante Gutierrez, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Sommeliers de Ligamentos fully deserved thier win.
