El Garden's Venancio Cebrian played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Julio Maju in the 14th minute of play. Julio Maju received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 17th minute. Venancio Cebrian tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Hugo Rojelio fell near the penalty area in the 26th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Sisiguasi's protests and gave Hugo Rojelio a yellow card for diving instead. In the 26th match minute, Sisiguasi was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Hugo Rojelio to maneuver through the defense. Venancio Cebrian showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Godfredo Suarez, who was totally free with the ball in the 29th minute. Julio Maju took the ball and in the 52 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Venancio Cebrian. Venancio Cebrian dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. Julio Maju sent away a hard shot on goal in the 56th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. If Guillermo Jacob had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 59th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Venancio Cebrian was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Timoteo Arano showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-2 in the 62 minute of play. 67 minutes into the match, El Garden's goal looked a bit too open when Timoteo Arano came free, but Venancio Cebrian reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.
