Rigoberto Tavio showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Nereo Ilixo in the 10th minute of the match. Rigoberto Tavio stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Manuel Luzea's shot from short distance in the 11th minute. Pablo Teofilio hit a great freekick 28 minutes into the match. In the 34th minute the ball was on its way in behind Akademie's goalkeeper Rigoberto Tavio, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. If Aurelio Abar had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 35th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Elvio Donzel fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 41st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rigoberto Tavio having to interfere. Aurelio Abar took the ball and in the 48 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Rigoberto Tavio. Rigoberto Tavio dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-4. The Akademie players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Ballester AFC were winning 0-4.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Manuel Luzea to make the kick off. In the 55th play minute Manuel Luzea came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Rigoberto Tavio. 0-5. After some fancy dribbling in the 58th minute, Manuel Luzea managed to get in a good position for a shot. Ballester AFC's supporters rose to their feet, but Manuel Luzea was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Rigoberto Tavio breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Rigoberto Tavio made a fantastic save in the 59th minute, when Nereo Ilixo sent off a good shot on target. Akademie's Rigoberto Tavio proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 60th minute of the match, managed to save Akademie from getting a goal against them. Esteban Ofelio received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 61st minute. Constantino Platon tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Akademie's Rigoberto Tavio proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 64th minute of the match, managed to save Akademie from getting a goal against them. Ariel Ritchie could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 69th minute of the match, but Rigoberto Tavio made a huge save. Akademie's Rigoberto Tavio played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Manuel Luzea in the 70th minute of play. After having played for 72 minutes, Manuel Luzea managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Ballester AFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Manuel Luzea was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Ballester AFC were furious when Freddy Quintun was red carded, 74 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. Constantino Platon went to the wrong direction when Miguel Rami was taking care of the penalty kick which however missed the goal. If Elvio Donzel had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 80th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A collision led to Akademie getting a freekick after 81 minutes play. Pablo Teofilio hit a great ball. In the 84th minute Esteban Ofelio shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Constantino Platon saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Akademie's Rigoberto Tavio played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Elvio Donzel in the 90th minute of play. When Ariel Ritchie came up free with the goalie in the 92nd minute, the Ballester AFC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ariel Ritchie couldn't finish the play. When Aurelio Abar fell near the penalty area in the 95th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Ballester AFC's protests and gave Aurelio Abar a yellow card for diving instead. After 95 played minutes Ballester AFC got a freekick which was hit by Aurelio Abar. Ariel Ritchie fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 98th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rigoberto Tavio having to interfere. Nereo Ilixo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 99th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rigoberto Tavio having to interfere. The Akademie fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Ballester AFC were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
