The audience thought a goal was coming when Fabricio Manex got free with Rigoberto Tavio in the 12th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Fabian Blanco showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Esteban Ofelio in the 14th minute of the match. If Esteban Ofelio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 20th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 23rd minute, Fabricio Manex got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The long shot by Isidoro Iliana in the 28th minute really tested Rigoberto Tavio's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 34th minute, Ovidio Ugaitz managed to get in a good position for a shot. Fabricio Manex received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 61st minute. Rigoberto Tavio tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Chorrillos's Teobaldo Lon got a free kick in the 63rd minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ovidio Ugaitz in the 67th minute of play forced Akademie's goalkeeper Rigoberto Tavio to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Fabricio Manex succeeded in the game's 70th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 2-0. Akademie's supporters crossed their fingers, but Esteban Ofelio was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If Ovidio Ugaitz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 93rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Chorrillos's Damaso Laurendi got a good chance for a goal in the 93rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar.
