Benigno Restu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jeremias Cibran in the 3rd minute of play. Ettore Filippini fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 8th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Benigno Restu having to interfere. In the 10th minute Epifanio Garoa shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Luciano Hulberto saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ettore Filippini could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 12th minute of the match, but Benigno Restu made a huge save. Benigno Restu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jeremias Cibran, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The supporters of Ciclón Santiagueño FC booed when ignineitors was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 20 match minutes in a wonderful position. Moises Pedroso didn't get a good kick on the ball. Jeremias Cibran sent away a hard shot on goal in the 30th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 37 minutes, Eulalio Sandalio mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the ignineitors and the Ciclón Santiagueño FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. Eulalio Sandalio kicked well hit freekick during the 37th minute of the match. A hard shot 39 in the game by Ettore Filippini from a close distance when the talented Benigno Restu managed to make a qualified save. ignineitors's players were relieved. If Jeremias Cibran had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 45th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 0-0 after a close first half.

After a rather tough play, Ciclón Santiagueño FC's Ettore Filippini got a free kick in the 55th minute. Luciano Hulberto made an important save on a dangerous shot by Eulalio Sandalio in the 69th minute. After having played for 74 minutes, Felipillo Astozas managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Ciclón Santiagueño FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Felipillo Astozas was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Benigno Iruinea charged in rather forcefully in the 75th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Benigno Iruinea the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of ignineitors booed when Ciclón Santiagueño FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 75 match minutes in a wonderful position. Benigno Iruinea didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Moises Pedroso had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 77th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Jeremias Cibran recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 79th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 81st minute Ettore Filippini shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Benigno Restu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ettore Filippini took the ball and in the 89 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Benigno Restu. Benigno Restu dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-0. Ciclón Santiagueño FC walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
