Mariano Moniz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 15th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Geronimo Tajo having to interfere. In the 19th minute, Domingo Bibiano hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Amador Euloxu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 22nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Amador Euloxu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 24th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 28 minutes into the match, Russell's Leonel Rosario sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Gökçen Budak narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The supporters of Fab Eleven booed when Russell was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 32 match minutes in a wonderful position. Alberto Harriet didn't get a good kick on the ball. Geronimo Tajo made a fantastic save in the 37th minute, when Amador Euloxu sent off a good shot on target. Amador Euloxu recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 43rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Amador Euloxu stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 65th minute, Georg Kristiansson made a precise shot to the right of Geronimo Tajo. Russell's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-0. If Amador Euloxu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 70th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After having played for 93 minutes, Laureano Hori managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Fab Eleven's supporters crossed their fingers, but Laureano Hori was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Mariano Moniz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 94th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.
