Oscar Silviano was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 46th minute, Saverio Bordat got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. If Rigoberto Honesto had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 47th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 3-1.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Severo Hurko to strike the kick off in the second half. Rigoberto Honesto sent away a hard shot on goal in the 52nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Laguna's Rigoberto Honesto got a good chance for a goal in the 67th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The audience was convinced that Saverio Bordat's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Oscar Silviano was relentless in the 70th minute of the game. 74 minutes into the match, CA Jesús Mendez's goal looked a bit too open when Aristides Matro came free, but Oscar Silviano reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Oscar Silviano prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 95 minutes into the match, CA Jesús Mendez's goal looked a bit too open when Saverio Bordat came free, but Oscar Silviano reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Laguna fully deserved thier win.
