Teodosio Txartiko started the match with the kick off. After having played for 3 minutes, Jimeno Monico managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Club Atletico River Plate's supporters crossed their fingers, but Jimeno Monico was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 6 minutes into the game, Uriel Olivar was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Club Atletico River Plate's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Quilmes A.C the free kick. After a rather tough play, Club Atletico River Plate's Uriel Olivar got a free kick in the 6th minute. After 7 played minutes Club Atletico River Plate got a freekick which was hit by Teobaldo Jenaro. In the 11th minute, Isaias Colas fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. Placido Estevon did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 1-0 to the left of a surprised Pablo Tallia 11 minutes into the match. 16 minutes into the match, Club Atletico River Plate's Teodosio Txartiko sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Başar Karacabey narrowly saved just below the crossbar. A collision led to Club Atletico River Plate getting a freekick after 18 minutes play. Teodosio Txartiko hit a great ball. Isaias Colas fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 22nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Pablo Tallia having to interfere. The supporters of Quilmes A.C booed when Club Atletico River Plate was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 25 match minutes in a wonderful position. Uriel Olivar didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Placido Estevon had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 27th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Isaias Colas sent away a hard shot on goal in the 30th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 31 played minutes Club Atletico River Plate got a freekick which was hit by Dalmacio Koldo. Isaias Colas's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Pablo Tallia read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 33rd minute of play. 36 minutes into the match, Club Atletico River Plate's goal looked a bit too open when Isaias Colas came free, but Pablo Tallia reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the last second Pablo Tallia throw himself and got hold of the ball when Isaias Colas in the 37thth minute from his position got away a shot towards the right post. Pablo Tallia showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Isaias Colas, who was totally free with the ball in the 41st minute. Jimeno Monico kicked well hit freekick during the 41st minute of the match. Pablo Tallia showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Isaias Colas in the 43rd minute of the match. Club Atletico River Plate's Pablo Tallia played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Isaias Colas in the 46th minute of play. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Isaias Colas to make the kick off. After having played for 51 minutes, Isaias Colas managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Quilmes A.C's supporters crossed their fingers, but Isaias Colas was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When the match clock showed 55 minutes, the score became 2-0 when Isaias Colas sped through Club Atletico River Plate's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Pablo Tallia. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Claudio Formerio during the 61st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 61 played minutes Club Atletico River Plate got a freekick which was hit by Claudio Formerio. It was beautiful to see Quilmes A.C's Domingos Iaki in action when he in the 63rd minute dribbled his way through a couple of opponents and the fired away a shot from almost standing still. First the ball seemed to get in, but turned out to be on the outside of the net. A great chance! Isaias Colas struck a weak shot in the 72nd minute. Pablo Tallia didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Quilmes A.C. Club Atletico River Plate's Pablo Tallia played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Isaias Colas in the 74th minute of play. In the 78th minute the ball was on its way in behind Club Atletico River Plate's goalkeeper Pablo Tallia, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 79th minute Placido Estevon shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Pablo Tallia saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Teobaldo Jenaro hit a great freekick 84 minutes into the match. Amadeo Chano fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 85th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Pablo Tallia having to interfere. When Dalmacio Koldo fell near the penalty area in the 86th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Club Atletico River Plate's protests and gave Dalmacio Koldo a yellow card for diving instead. In the 86th minute, Dalmacio Koldo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Isaias Colas took the ball and in the 92 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Pablo Tallia. Pablo Tallia dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-0. In the 95th minute Placido Estevon shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Pablo Tallia saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.
