Arnoldo Aurre fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 19th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Manuel Tano having to interfere. 22 minutes into the match, Patricio Vermudo had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Manuel Tano. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-5 lead.

With a couple of smart ball manuevers Arnoldo Aurre in the 54th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Manuel Tano saved C. A. San Patricio from getting behind. Patricio Vermudo struck a weak shot in the 56th minute. Manuel Tano didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Paredones FC. C. A. San Patricio's Manuel Tano proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 62nd minute of the match, managed to save C. A. San Patricio from getting a goal against them. When Patricio Vermudo, who was free, got the in front of the goal in the 63 minute he wasn't focused and tipped the ball just over the goal. The Manuel Tano was delighted since the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. Manuel Tano made a fantastic save in the 66th minute, when Gualterio Laurin sent off a good shot on target. Patricio Vermudo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 68th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Manuel Tano having to interfere. If Arnoldo Aurre had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 73rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 74 minutes, Gualterio Laurin mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Paredones FC and the C. A. San Patricio players grew even worse after the yellow card. Zeledon Gil hit a great ball. After 78 played minutes Paredones FC got a freekick which was hit by Patricio Vermudo. Ariel Artizar charged in rather forcefully in the 78th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Ariel Artizar the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Paredones FC's Francisco Cristos was substituted for Remigio Ishmael. Ariel Artizar hit a great freekick 80 minutes into the match. Arnoldo Aurre sent away a hard shot on goal in the 82nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. C. A. San Patricio's Manuel Tano played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Arnoldo Aurre in the 85th minute of play. During the 87th minute of the match Ariel Artizar completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Ariel Artizar a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. Ariel Artizar kicked well hit freekick during the 88th minute of the match. Manuel Tano made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Arnoldo Aurre in the 95th minute of play. The C. A. San Patricio fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Paredones FC were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
