San Patricio getting a freekick after 18 minutes play. Zeledon Gil hit a great ball. With 22 minutes on the clock, Fernando da Silveira commited a dangerous tackle. Hipolito Quilo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 40th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Manuel Tano having to interfere. Primitivo Etor struck a weak shot in the 45th minute. Manuel Tano didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Barracas. After a defensive mix-up in C. A. San Patricio's zone, Benigno Bernat stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Manuel Tano came out of the goal and Benigno Bernat tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Primitivo Etor was the one to do the kick off. Manuel Tano took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Primitivo Etor, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. San Patricio's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Manuel Tano. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Primitivo Etor in the 85th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Manuel Tano prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Barracas's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
