Spectators: 712 (Terracing: 512, Seating: 200, VIP seats: 0) The supporters of Jáchal booed when Tarragona was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 3 match minutes in a wonderful position. Simon Joachim didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 6 played minutes Jáchal got a freekick which was hit by Dalmacio Naldo. Abelardo Bitxintxo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 9th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Inocencio Inguma having to interfere. Inocencio Inguma made an important save on a dangerous shot by Abelardo Bitxintxo in the 18th minute. Fidel Salvatore showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Albano Gamus in the 20th minute of the match. After 21 played minutes Tarragona got a freekick which was hit by Simon Joachim. Dalmacio Naldo made in the 25th minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by Leopoldo Gauargi. After a defensive mix-up in Jáchal's zone, Rafael Jaen stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Inocencio Inguma came out of the goal and Rafael Jaen tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Fulgencio Araoz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 31st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Inocencio Inguma having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Serafino Lauro in the 36th minute of play forced Tarragona's goalkeeper Fidel Salvatore to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 40 played minutes Rafael Jaen could catch the ball where he stood relatively free a bit outside the goal and without hesitation he completed 1-0 into the left cross. After a rather tough play, Tarragona's David Garaile got a free kick in the 44th minute. Jáchal's Inocencio Inguma played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rafael Jaen in the 47th minute of play. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

The wind increased when Serafino Lauro made the kick off in the second half. In the 52nd minute, Albano Gamus reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Fidel Salvatore. The goal made the score 1-1. Jáchal's Inocencio Inguma played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rafael Jaen in the 58th minute of play. Tarragona's defense didn't have a chance, in the 59th minute, when Marcos Ariando scored to the left of an out of position Fidel Salvatore, making the score, 1-2. Inocencio Inguma made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rafael Jaen in the 63rd minute of play. Rafael Jaen recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 66th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Inocencio Inguma made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rafael Jaen in the 70th minute of play. 71 minutes into the game, Tarragona's Rafael Jaen nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Inocencio Inguma made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-2. When Fulgencio Araoz came up free with the goalie in the 75th minute, the Tarragona fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Fulgencio Araoz couldn't finish the play. Marcos Ariando hit a great freekick 76 minutes into the match. In the 77th minute Rafael Jaen shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Inocencio Inguma saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 79 minutes, Damaso Telmo mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Tarragona and the Jáchal players grew even worse after the yellow card. 2-3 became the score in the 80th minute when Leopoldo Gauargi elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. Inocencio Inguma came out of the goal in the 85th minute to try and stop a shot by Tarragona's Rafael Jaen. But to his dismay, Rafael Jaen quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-3. The audience thought a goal was coming when Leopoldo Gauargi got free with Fidel Salvatore in the 96th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The teams fought very hard right up to the final whistle. Both sets of players were happy to go away with a draw.
