Seating: 1655, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Higinio Firme kicked off to start the match. When Nunez Florinio came up free with the goalie in the 4th minute, the Papin fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Nunez Florinio couldn't finish the play. Aquilino Policarpio kicked well hit freekick during the 6th minute of the match. Bernardino Su kicked well hit freekick during the 7th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Papin's Edelmiro Gaur got a free kick in the 13th minute. A collision led to Papin getting a freekick after 19 minutes play. Isidro Gotzon hit a great ball. In the 23rd play minute Nunez Florinio came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Dionisio Abeita. 1-0. Bernardino Su received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 34th minute. Raimundo Rio tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Papin's zone, Higinio Firme stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Raimundo Rio came out of the goal and Higinio Firme tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Isidro Ezkerra's late challenge caught a FC Cactus's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Isidro Ezkerra helped the player get up and apologised. Isidro Ezkerra hit a great freekick 37 minutes into the match. After a defensive mix-up in Papin's zone, Faustino Enol stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Raimundo Rio came out of the goal and Faustino Enol tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Isidro Ezkerra kicked well hit freekick during the 39th minute of the match. When FC Cactus's Higinio Firme in the 41st minute got a chance for a shot 41st didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Papin's goalie prevented a goal. Higinio Firme fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 46th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Raimundo Rio having to interfere. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.
The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Nunez Florinio was the one to do the kick off. In the 51st match minute, FC Cactus was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Faustino Enol to maneuver through the defense. 53 minutes into the match, FC Cactus's Faustino Enol sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Raimundo Rio narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The supporters of FC Cactus booed when Papin was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 55 match minutes in a wonderful position. Isidro Gotzon didn't get a good kick on the ball. Raimundo Rio dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-2. Nunez Florinio sent away a hard shot on goal in the 78th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Raimundo Rio took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Higinio Firme, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Paulino Berenguer during the 96th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 96th match minute, Papin was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Paulino Berenguer to maneuver through the defense. When the final whistle sounded FC Cactus left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Papin.
