Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. The Obanta AFC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Placido Cordario should have stopped the shot. 10 minutes into the match, Guido's goal looked a bit too open when Norberto Rodriguez came free, but Atilano Abadie reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Marcelo Millan struck a weak shot in the 13th minute. Placido Cordario didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Guido. With his leg Placido Cordario managed to avoid a goal in the 18thth minute, when Guido's Amado Pello fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Atilano Abadie took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Norberto Rodriguez, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Guido's Marcelo Millan got a good chance for a goal in the 23rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After 26 minutes, Adolfo Cordeiro mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Obanta AFC and the Guido players grew even worse after the yellow card. Adolfo Cordeiro kicked well hit freekick during the 26th minute of the match. Humberto Niguel kicked well hit freekick during the 30th minute of the match. Fidel Urre recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 33rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 36 played minutes Obanta AFC got a freekick which was hit by Norberto Rodriguez. Marcelo Millan sent away a hard shot on goal in the 38th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 41st minute, Fidel Urre made a precise shot to the right of Placido Cordario. Obanta AFC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Amado Pello in the 46th minute of play forced Obanta AFC's goalkeeper Placido Cordario to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 48th minute, Marcelo Millan managed to get in a good position for a shot. Guido's supporters rose to their feet, but Marcelo Millan was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Placido Cordario breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-0.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Norberto Rodriguez stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Ismael Cordairo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 53rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Atilano Abadie having to interfere. In the 55th minute, Mariano Hechter made a precise shot to the right of Placido Cordario. Obanta AFC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-0. 71 minutes into the match, Mariano Hechter had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Placido Cordario. Obanta AFC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Mariano Hechter was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 5-0. The throw-in from Astor Valerio in the 80th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Guido's Ildefonso Teodor. The audience was convinced that Amado Pello's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Placido Cordario was relentless in the 82nd minute of the game. When the referee ended the match the Guido players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
