In the 14th minute, Amado Locaio sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Escalada AFC's Cirilo Valentine didn't even have to move. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Albano Perutxo in the 21st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Adan Quintin saved Leandro N. Alem from getting behind. Adan Quintin took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Albano Perutxo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After having played for 35 minutes, Melquiades Peru managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Leandro N. Alem's supporters crossed their fingers, but Melquiades Peru was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 37th minute, Edgard Galeno ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Cirilo Valentine was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. Adan Quintin didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Miguel Cordario went, in the 42nd minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Edgard Galeno to strike the kick off in the second half. Placido Oskarbi kicked well hit freekick during the 52nd minute of the match. Albano Perutxo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 53rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal.
