Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Laureano Aguilera started the match with the kick off. Maximino Gil made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Hermengildo Cordairo in the 5th minute of play. An unexpected shot in the 6th minute by Rigoberto Dantae got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. After 7 minutes, Hermengildo Cordairo made it 1-0 with a short kick to the right side. Club Atletico Boca Junior's Maximino Gil tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Hermengildo Cordairo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 11th minute. Maximino Gil tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 15th minute, Rigoberto Dantae got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. If Hermengildo Cordairo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 16th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 24th play minute Rigoberto Dantae came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Maximino Gil. 2-0. If Camilo Tiso had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 29th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a defensive mix-up in Club Atletico Boca Junior's zone, Rigoberto Dantae stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Maximino Gil came out of the goal and Rigoberto Dantae tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Hermengildo Cordairo received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Maximino Gil came out and tried to block the shot, but Hermengildo Cordairo slotted it home off the left post making it 3-0 in the 34th minute. In the 37th minute, Hermengildo Cordairo left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Carolina fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 4-0. If Rigoberto Dantae had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 41st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 44th play minute Rigoberto Dantae came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Maximino Gil. 5-0. Rigoberto Dantae sent away a hard shot on goal in the 47th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Hermengildo Cordairo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 49th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Maximino Gil having to interfere. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 5-0 at half-time.

The wind increased when Hermengildo Cordairo made the kick off in the second half. If Laureano Aguilera had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 63rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Maximino Gil showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Hermengildo Cordairo, who was totally free with the ball in the 65th minute. 67 minutes into the match, Club Atletico Boca Junior's goal looked a bit too open when Hermengildo Cordairo came free, but Maximino Gil reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Bernardino Naelio sent away a hard shot on goal in the 70th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. After 76 minutes, Laureano Aguilera mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Club Atletico Boca Junior and the Carolina players grew even worse after the yellow card. Hermengildo Cordairo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 78th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Maximino Gil having to interfere. Maximino Gil stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Hermengildo Cordairo's shot from short distance in the 80th minute. Maximino Gil showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Anselmo Gurutz, who was totally free with the ball in the 83rd minute. After some careless play in the Club Atletico Boca Junior defense, Rigoberto Dantae kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Maximino Gil. The Club Atletico Boca Junior fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Maximino Gil should have stopped the shot. Maximino Gil stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Hermengildo Cordairo's shot from short distance in the 90th minute. Camilo Tiso scored 9-0 in the 94th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Maximino Gil, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. There was no doubt that Carolina were the better team. Carolina's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
