Spectators: 7171 (Terracing: 5412, Seating: 1659, VIP seats: 100) Elpidio Froila started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. Reynaldo Cordera didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Américo Luz went, in the 16th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-0 was the resulting score. In the 24thth minute of the game Elpidio Froila who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Candelaria's Reynaldo Cordera was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Candelaria's defense didn't have a chance, in the 28th minute, when Elpidio Froila scored to the left of an out of position Reynaldo Cordera, making the score, 3-0. Reynaldo Cordera showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Elpidio Froila in the 32nd minute of the match. Elpidio Froila received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 34th minute. Reynaldo Cordera tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Tobias Natal had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 35th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 37 minutes into the match, Américo Luz notched a goal, 4-0, to the right of Candelaria's Reynaldo Cordera. Reynaldo Cordera was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After some fancy dribbling in the 45th minute, Américo Luz managed to get in a good position for a shot. Deseado FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Américo Luz was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Reynaldo Cordera breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 4-0 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Manuel Paulin to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 61st minute, Américo Luz ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Reynaldo Cordera was frozen by the shot and now it was 5-0. Elpidio Froila received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 64th minute. Reynaldo Cordera tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Américo Luz scored 6-0 in the 71st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Reynaldo Cordera, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After a defensive mix-up in Candelaria's zone, Américo Luz stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Reynaldo Cordera came out of the goal and Américo Luz tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Deseado FC made a substitution. Filiberto Darien replaced Elpidio Froila. 81 minutes into the match, Filiberto Darien notched a goal, 7-0, to the right of Candelaria's Reynaldo Cordera. Reynaldo Cordera was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The supporters of Candelaria booed when Deseado FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 84 match minutes in a wonderful position. Cesar Salamon didn't get a good kick on the ball. Deseado FC's Filiberto Darien managed to work through Candelaria's defense and was going for an easy goal, but he hit the shot with his toe and the ball flew outside the goal. Filiberto Darien dejectedly held out his arms as if to ask why the ball hadn't gone in. Reynaldo Cordera showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Filiberto Darien, who was totally free with the ball in the 97th minute. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Deseado FC had played much better football throughout.
