Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 1-2 lead.

A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. Sios's Albano Ursino got a good chance for a goal in the 76th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Benedicto Nahia during the 77th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 85 played minutes, Defensores Unidos Zarate's Saverio Qwinton shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Benicio Lorencio came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Defensores Unidos Zarate reached it. Ciro Celipe sent away a hard shot on goal in the 87th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Benicio Lorencio made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ciro Celipe in the 92nd minute of play. Benicio Tabb kicked well hit freekick during the 93rd minute of the match. Many of Sios's supporters were seen to leave the ground early as it became clear their team was going to lose. Sios may have spent more time on the ball, but Defensores Unidos Zarate were more willing to take their chances and they walked away with the win.
