In the 27th minute Melchor Senon shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Valentin Ascencio saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Rui Hoffmann who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 36thth minute tested the skills of Antonio Ourente when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Valentin Ascencio showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Leon Rocio, who was totally free with the ball in the 38th minute. Valentin Ascencio took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Baltasar Peio, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Antonio Ourente prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Osvaldo Peyo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 76th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 78thth minute of the game Rui Hoffmann who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Ranquiles FC's Antonio Ourente was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Osvaldo Peyo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 83rd minute. Antonio Ourente tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Rui Hoffmann had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 89th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Luche Fc's Rui Hoffmann in the 94th minute got a chance for a shot 94th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Ranquiles FC's goalie prevented a goal. Valentin Ascencio made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Melchor Senon in the 96th minute of play. Luche Fc walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
