After 15 played minutes La Ojota Curarú got a freekick which was hit by Aureliano Gaxan. After a rather tough play, Huayatayoc FC's Saul Abastas got a free kick in the 19th minute. In the 26th minute, Gervasio Rosio left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Huayatayoc FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-2 lead.

The supporters of Huayatayoc FC booed when La Ojota Curarú was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 53 match minutes in a wonderful position. Roman Unai didn't get a good kick on the ball. Gaston Aznar made an important save on a dangerous shot by Inocencio Arias in the 56th minute. 59 minutes into the game, Geronimo Beat was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Huayatayoc FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave La Ojota Curarú the free kick. In the 59th match minute, Huayatayoc FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Geronimo Beat to maneuver through the defense. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Domingos Senin in the 62nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Gaston Aznar prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After a defensive mix-up in La Ojota Curarú's zone, Wincent Trzemzalski stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Gaston Aznar came out of the goal and Wincent Trzemzalski tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Huayatayoc FC made a substitution. Jose Benvido replaced Domingos Senin. Gaston Aznar was a little too slow when Jose Benvido got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 69th minute. The score was now 0-3. Gaston Aznar was a little too slow when Wincent Trzemzalski got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 72nd minute. The score was now 0-4. After 77 played minutes La Ojota Curarú got a freekick which was hit by Claudio Boni. In the 80th minute, Jose Benvido ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Gaston Aznar was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-5. 83 minutes into the match, La Ojota Curarú's goal looked a bit too open when Saverio Rocio came free, but Gaston Aznar reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 84th minute, Geronimo Beat managed to get in a good position for a shot. Huayatayoc FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Geronimo Beat was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Gaston Aznar breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. With a little luck, La Ojota Curarú's Gaston Aznar got control of the ball when Jose Benvido tried to sneak it across the goal line. Gaston Aznar showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Wincent Trzemzalski in the 96th minute of the match. The La Ojota Curarú fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Huayatayoc FC were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
