After some careless play in the Celta de Merlo FC defense, Tadeo Telo kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Celestino Brais. The Celta de Merlo FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Celestino Brais should have stopped the shot. 13 minutes into the match, Celta de Merlo FC's Mariano Suero sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Marcelo Colorado narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 19 minutes into the match, Tadeo Telo dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Celestino Brais, 2-0. Joel Mateus sent away a hard shot on goal in the 27th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. After a defensive mix-up in Celta de Merlo FC's zone, Tadeo Telo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Celestino Brais came out of the goal and Tadeo Telo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Delmar Ceandro in the 31st minute of play forced Minacar's goalkeeper Marcelo Colorado to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Tadeo Telo's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Celestino Brais read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 34th minute of play. Minacar's Tadeo Telo came free and shot a quick shot against goal 35 minutes in the game, fortunately Celestino Brais had problems saving as it came toward the left post. An unexpectedly hard shot by Benito Valentine in the 38th minute of play forced Minacar's goalkeeper Marcelo Colorado to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The crowd rose to their feet as Minacar's Gaudencio Jakobe slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Celestino Brais. That made the score 3-0 after 42 minutes of play. Tadeo Telo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 45th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Celestino Brais having to interfere. With a little luck, Celta de Merlo FC's Celestino Brais got control of the ball when Tadeo Telo tried to sneak it across the goal line. Marcelo Colorado showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mariano Suero in the 48th minute of the match. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 3-0 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Mariano Suero to make the kick off. Celestino Brais didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Tadeo Telo went, in the 54th minute, to the upper right corner, 4-0 was the resulting score. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Tadeo Telo in the 58th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Celestino Brais saved Celta de Merlo FC from getting behind. Gaudencio Jakobe received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 59th minute. Celestino Brais tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Benedicto Abad fell near the penalty area in the 60th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Celta de Merlo FC's protests and gave Benedicto Abad a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, Celta de Merlo FC's Benedicto Abad got a free kick in the 61st minute. Celta de Merlo FC's Celestino Brais played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tadeo Telo in the 62nd minute of play. When the match had gone on for 65 minutes, Tadeo Telo put it in 5-0 from a short distance just to the right of Celestino Brais. Tadeo Telo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 69th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Celestino Brais having to interfere. After 72 played minutes Minacar got a freekick which was hit by Nicolas Sein. Celestino Brais showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tadeo Telo, who was totally free with the ball in the 74th minute. Raul Alfonso could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 76th minute of the match, but Marcelo Colorado made a huge save. In the 81st minute, Tadeo Telo left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Minacar fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 6-0. The supporters of Celta de Merlo FC booed when Minacar was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 85 match minutes in a wonderful position. Nicolas Sein didn't get a good kick on the ball.
