In the 13th match minute, XENEIZE was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Bartolo Hermon to maneuver through the defense. Fabio Oihan charged in rather forcefully in the 17th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Fabio Oihan the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Melincué booed when XENEIZE was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 17 match minutes in a wonderful position. Fabio Oihan didn't get a good kick on the ball. XENEIZE's Gaudencio Oskarbi played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Casimiro Mitxel in the 18th minute of play. After 21 played minutes XENEIZE got a freekick which was hit by Fabio Oihan. After having played for 29 minutes, Eliseo Ofelio managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Melincué's supporters crossed their fingers, but Eliseo Ofelio was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Gaudencio Oskarbi had great luck who in the 32ndth minute grab hold of the ball when Dedé Porto from a short distance tried to put the ball inside the right post. If Valentin Elorri had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 33rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Melincué's Dedé Porto got a good chance for a goal in the 36th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Baldomiro Neto's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Jonatan Gau read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 38th minute of play. When the match clock showed 42 minutes, the score became 3-0 when Dedé Porto sped through XENEIZE's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Gaudencio Oskarbi. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Dedé Porto in the 46th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Gaudencio Oskarbi prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Af the end of the first half the score was 3-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The wind increased when Fabio Oihan made the kick off in the second half. 54 minutes into the match, Dedé Porto notched a goal, 4-0, to the right of XENEIZE's Gaudencio Oskarbi. Gaudencio Oskarbi was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. With 58 minutes on the clock, Bernabe Brun commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. Melincué's Silvio Duarte was substituted for Casimiro Mitxel.
