Spectators: 6656 (Terracing: 5306, Seating: 1300, VIP seats: 50) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Fabio Oihan started the match with the kick off. In the 3rd minute, Marcelino Lalla ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Gaudencio Oskarbi was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-0. 11 minutes into the match, Calchín AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Fabio Oihan came free, but Florencio Romildo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A collision led to XENEIZE getting a freekick after 13 minutes play. Diego Chabier hit a great ball. Giannis Sapakiss short, quick shot in the 17thth minute got Gaudencio Oskarbi to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. XENEIZE's Gaudencio Oskarbi proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 21st minute of the match, managed to save XENEIZE from getting a goal against them. Gaudencio Oskarbi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Giannis Sapakis in the 23rd minute of play. In the 27th minute, Diego Chabier hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After some careless play in the Calchín AFC defense, Eriberto Cresconio kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Florencio Romildo. The Calchín AFC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Florencio Romildo should have stopped the shot. When the match clock showed 35 minutes, the score became 2-1 when Giannis Sapakis sped through XENEIZE's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Gaudencio Oskarbi. Calchín AFC's Anacleto Salvatore got a good chance for a goal in the 40th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Venancio Alfonso fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 41st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gaudencio Oskarbi having to interfere. Gaudencio Oskarbi showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Anacleto Salvatore, who was totally free with the ball in the 43rd minute. After a defensive mix-up in XENEIZE's zone, Joaquin Katia stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Gaudencio Oskarbi came out of the goal and Joaquin Katia tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Isaac Banegas was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 47 minutes into the match. Marcos Araoz, 50 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-1 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Giannis Sapakis to strike the kick off in the second half. Giannis Sapakis struck a weak shot in the 56th minute. Gaudencio Oskarbi didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Calchín AFC. A collision led to XENEIZE getting a freekick after 57 minutes play. Bartolo Hermon hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Anacleto Salvatore in the 60th minute of play forced XENEIZE's goalkeeper Gaudencio Oskarbi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Giannis Sapakis sent away a hard shot on goal in the 61st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Anacleto Salvatore came up free with the goalie in the 62nd minute, the Calchín AFC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Anacleto Salvatore couldn't finish the play. In the 64th minute the ball was on its way in behind XENEIZE's goalkeeper Gaudencio Oskarbi, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After a defensive mix-up in XENEIZE's zone, Anacleto Salvatore stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Gaudencio Oskarbi came out of the goal and Anacleto Salvatore tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 68thth minute of the game Giannis Sapakis who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but XENEIZE's Gaudencio Oskarbi was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. A collision led to XENEIZE getting a freekick after 70 minutes play. Godofredo Bartuelo hit a great ball. Gaudencio Oskarbi showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Giannis Sapakis in the 76th minute of the match. Giannis Sapakis blasted a shot towards the goal in the 77th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Gaudencio Oskarbi having to make a save. Giannis Sapakis scored 3-1 in the 79th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Gaudencio Oskarbi, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. A collision led to XENEIZE getting a freekick after 85 minutes play. Godofredo Bartuelo hit a great ball. Gaudencio Oskarbi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Giannis Sapakis in the 89th minute of play. In the 91st minute, Godofredo Bartuelo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Anacleto Salvatore had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 96th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 98th minute the ball was on its way in behind Calchín AFC's goalkeeper Florencio Romildo, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. There was no doubt that Calchín AFC were the better team. Calchín AFC's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
