Spectators: 7088 (Terracing: 5317, Seating: 1630, VIP seats: 141) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Bruno Eudoxio took the kick off in the first half of the match. Independiente FC's Benito Martxot got a good chance for a goal in the 3rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After a defensive mix-up in VirBon's zone, Benito Martxot stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ceferino Phelipe came out of the goal and Benito Martxot tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Ceferino Phelipe came out of the goal in the 11th minute to try and stop a shot by Independiente FC's Benito Martxot. But to his dismay, Benito Martxot quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Benito Martxot fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 16th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ceferino Phelipe having to interfere. Ceferino Phelipe took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Benito Martxot, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After some fancy dribbling in the 21st minute, Jesus Ellande managed to get in a good position for a shot. Independiente FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Jesus Ellande was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ceferino Phelipe breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. If Jesus Ellande had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 24th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 27th minute, Jesus Ellande got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Luisito Hechter in the 30thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Andres Dodorol, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Victoriano Petri recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 31st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Benito Martxot sent away a hard shot on goal in the 36th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Jesus Ellande fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 39th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ceferino Phelipe having to interfere. In the 45th minute, Benito Martxot hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Benito Martxot to strike the kick off in the second half. Ambrosio Iban kicked well hit freekick during the 60th minute of the match. Ceferino Phelipe took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jesus Ellande, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Victoriano Petri fell near the penalty area in the 65th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored VirBon's protests and gave Victoriano Petri a yellow card for diving instead. Victoriano Petri kicked well hit freekick during the 65th minute of the match. Haroldo Bernaldo, 66 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. Independiente FC's Andres Dodorol played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bruno Eudoxio in the 69th minute of play. 71 minutes into the match, Independiente FC's goal looked a bit too open when Luisito Hechter came free, but Andres Dodorol reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 75th minute Luisito Hechter shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Andres Dodorol saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 76th minute, Prudencio Santikurtz hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Prudencio Santikurtz struck a weak shot in the 83rd minute. Ceferino Phelipe didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Independiente FC. If Benito Martxot had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 89th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Prudencio Santikurtz received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 96th minute. Ceferino Phelipe tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Independiente FC's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
