Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) La Monroe's Gaston Henrico started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Gaston Henrico kicked well hit freekick during the 9th minute of the match. In the 11th minute Norbert Herceg shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Eriberto Mikelats saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Eriberto Mikelats showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Norbert Herceg in the 13th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Abel Enaut in the 20th minute of play forced Montserrat's goalkeeper Eriberto Mikelats to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 21 minutes into the game, La Monroe's Gaston Henrico nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Eriberto Mikelats made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. Eriberto Mikelats didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Abel Enaut went, in the 29th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score. 32 minutes into the match, Montserrat's goal looked a bit too open when Gaston Henrico came free, but Eriberto Mikelats reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 33rd minute Norbert Herceg shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Eriberto Mikelats saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Eriberto Mikelats came out of the goal in the 34th minute to try and stop a shot by La Monroe's Abel Enaut. But to his dismay, Abel Enaut quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-3. La Monroe's Anier Monico played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Everardo Macias in the 37th minute of play. The referee felt a red card was in order, 39 minutes into the game, when Ambrosio Jenaro put in a rough tackle. After 45 played minutes Montserrat got a freekick which was hit by Leo Pietro.
Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Vladimiro Bastian to make the kick off. Norbert Herceg could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 56th minute of the match, but Eriberto Mikelats made a huge save. Norbert Herceg did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 0-4 to the left of a surprised Eriberto Mikelats 56 minutes into the match. After a rather tough play, La Monroe's Geronimo Atarratze got a free kick in the 59th minute. Vladimiro Bastian fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 60th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Anier Monico having to interfere. Eriberto Mikelats made a fantastic save in the 62nd minute, when Abel Enaut sent off a good shot on target. 66 minutes into the game, Guillermo Micael threw the ball into play from the sideline. La Monroe's Higinio Pasqual quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. 67 minutes into the game, Norbert Herceg cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-5. Eriberto Mikelats was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. The audience thought a goal was coming when Norbert Herceg got free with Eriberto Mikelats in the 71st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 74th minute Gaston Henrico shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Eriberto Mikelats saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Tadeo Mederi kicked well hit freekick during the 75th minute of the match. Eriberto Mikelats was out of position in the 76 minute of play, and Gaston Henrico capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Gaston Henrico really showed his touch with that goal: 0-6. In the 79th match minute, Montserrat was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Vicente Mercurio to maneuver through the defense. The long shot by Norbert Herceg in the 80th minute really tested Eriberto Mikelats's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. Eriberto Mikelats didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Gaston Henrico went, in the 81st minute, to the upper right corner, 0-7 was the resulting score. Eriberto Mikelats made an important save on a dangerous shot by Norbert Herceg in the 85th minute. In the 88th minute, Everardo Macias hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When the final whistle sounded La Monroe left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Montserrat.
