Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Cristobal Estevon in the 14th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Humberto Inko prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After a defensive mix-up in Saladillo AFC's zone, Saturnino Silvanito stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Rene Ostots came out of the goal and Saturnino Silvanito tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Saladillo AFC's Rene Ostots proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 20th minute of the match, managed to save Saladillo AFC from getting a goal against them. 25 minutes into the game, Haroldo Odilon was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Saladillo AFC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Tehuelches the free kick. The supporters of Tehuelches booed when Saladillo AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 25 match minutes in a wonderful position. Haroldo Odilon didn't get a good kick on the ball. Saladillo AFC's Rene Ostots played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Saturnino Silvanito in the 26th minute of play. Vinicio Fernandess short, quick shot in the 28thth minute got Rene Ostots to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Humberto Inko took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Guaberto Euloxu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Saturnino Silvanito recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 35th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Vinicio Fernandes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 40th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

Rene Ostots didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Vinicio Fernandes went, in the 52nd minute, to the upper right corner, 1-0 was the resulting score. If Cristobal Estevon had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 56th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Saladillo AFC's Rene Ostots played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Saturnino Silvanito in the 60th minute of play. Vinicio Fernandes struck a weak shot in the 65th minute. Rene Ostots didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Tehuelches. Saladillo AFC's Cristobal Estevon got a good chance for a goal in the 68th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. If Guaberto Euloxu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 70th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Rene Ostots showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Vinicio Fernandes, who was totally free with the ball in the 72nd minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Vinicio Fernandes in the 91st minute of play forced Saladillo AFC's goalkeeper Rene Ostots to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Tehuelches's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
