Spectators: 7101 (Terracing: 5327, Seating: 1633, VIP seats: 141) Gongan's Cristo Eguen started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. 7 minutes into the match, Jose Ado had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Victorio Valerio. Pepo FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Jose Ado was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. Victorio Valerio showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cristo Eguen, who was totally free with the ball in the 14th minute. In the 18th minute, Gongan's Cristo Eguen ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Victorio Valerio. Victorio Valerio yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 2-0. The supporters of Gongan booed when Pepo FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 26 match minutes in a wonderful position. Victorio Eguerdi didn't get a good kick on the ball. 28 minutes in the game Guaberto Vincente got a great opportunity which he missed by shooting outside the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 30th minute, Ubaldo Loramendi managed to get in a good position for a shot. Pepo FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Ubaldo Loramendi was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Baltasar Txanton breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Clemente Fernandez sent away a hard shot on goal in the 36th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. 37 minutes into the match, Gongan's goal looked a bit too open when Ubaldo Loramendi came free, but Baltasar Txanton reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Lucas Lorencio during the 42nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 42nd match minute, Pepo FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Lucas Lorencio to maneuver through the defense. A hard shot by Efrain Giraldo from long distance, 44 minutes into the match, got Victorio Valerio's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 3-0.

After a defensive mix-up in Gongan's zone, Ubaldo Loramendi stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Baltasar Txanton came out of the goal and Ubaldo Loramendi tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After having played for 70 minutes, Ubaldo Loramendi managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Pepo FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ubaldo Loramendi was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 74 minutes into the match, Nestor Bingen dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Baltasar Txanton, 3-1. Ubaldo Loramendi recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 77th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Eduardo Bernebe hit a great freekick 79 minutes into the match. In the 86th minute of the match, Ubaldo Loramendi got a very nice opportunity to score, but Baltasar Txanton was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Clemente Fernandez struck a weak shot in the 87th minute. Baltasar Txanton didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Pepo FC. Nestor Bingen fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 92nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Baltasar Txanton having to interfere. Victorio Valerio came out of the goal in the 96th minute to try and stop a shot by Gongan's Jose Ado. But to his dismay, Jose Ado quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-1. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Gongan fans cheered their team off the field, for while Pepo FC had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
