After 10 played minutes Catan Citi FC got a freekick which was hit by Eliáš Rocio. In the 11th minute Higinio Abascal shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Preston Hopkins saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 12th minute, Clemente Seme hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Amadeo Virila's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Mauricio Flor read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 18th minute of play. Catan Citi FC's Vladimiro Txilar got a good chance for a goal in the 21st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Dante Quinto succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 1-0 in the 23rd playminute. Orlando Fortun could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 29th minute of the match, but Mauricio Flor made a huge save. In the 30th minute Amadeo Virila shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mauricio Flor saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Amadeo Virila had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 33rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Catan Citi FC's Preston Hopkins played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Albano Rubio in the 36th minute of play. Apolo Lain kicked well hit freekick during the 42nd minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Amadeo Virila in the 46th minute of play forced Cadillo's goalkeeper Mauricio Flor to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

If Amadeo Virila had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 53rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some careless play in the Catan Citi FC defense, Higinio Abascal kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Preston Hopkins. The Catan Citi FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Preston Hopkins should have stopped the shot. When Catan Citi FC's Eliáš Rocio in the 67th minute got a chance for a shot 67th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Cadillo's goalie prevented a goal. The supporters of Catan Citi FC booed when Cadillo was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 70 match minutes in a wonderful position. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Catan Citi FC had played much better football throughout.
