But to his dismay, Adriano Paris quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-0. Los Araucanos 's Miguel Eliazar was substituted for Victorio Aresti.

Adriano Paris sent away a hard shot on goal in the 55th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Miguel Eliazar received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 58th minute. Silvio Belasko tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Georg Abrahamsson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 88th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jonas Milian having to interfere. With 90 minutes on the clock, Laureano Matxin commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. After 89 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Leones Olavarrienses FC! Silvio Belasko had in the 91stth minute some difficulties stopping Luis Llanos's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. Silvio Belasko made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Miguel Eliazar in the 101st minute of play. There was no doubt that Leones Olavarrienses FC were the better team. Leones Olavarrienses FC's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
