Valentin Pero recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 3rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Guaberto Favila charged in rather forcefully in the 8th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Guaberto Favila the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 8th minute, Guaberto Favila hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Severiano Macias in the 11th minute of play forced Club Atlético Lanús's goalkeeper Remigio Erramun to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 12 played minutes Club Atlético Lanús got a freekick which was hit by Andréas Beck. In the 15th minute, Vilela's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Jaime Odon fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Jaime Odon's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 17thth minute, Tobias Seguinus skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. After having played for 20 minutes, Jaime Odon managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Club Atlético Lanús's supporters crossed their fingers, but Jaime Odon was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. An unexpected shot in the 21st minute by Lucio Raymon got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. In the 26thth minute of the game Jaime Odon who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Vilela's Tobias Seguinus was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After having played for 28 minutes, Jaime Odon managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Club Atlético Lanús's supporters crossed their fingers, but Jaime Odon was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 31st minute, Jaime Odon ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Tobias Seguinus was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-0. In the 33rd minute, Jaime Odon hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Severiano Macias's late challenge caught a Club Atlético Lanús's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Severiano Macias helped the player get up and apologised. Vilela's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Ruperto Cordareo 35 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 2-0. Tobias Seguinus didn't succeed to prevent the ball from going into goal when Club Atlético Lanús's Jaime Odon shot an unexpected shot in the crossbar's under edge and made 3-0 in the ordered_time% minute. After 46 minutes of play, Club Atlético Lanús's Jaime Odon made it 4-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Tobias Seguinus was left in no man's land by his defense there! No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 4-0 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Jaime Odon was the one to do the kick off. Jaime Odon fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 53rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tobias Seguinus having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Vilela's zone, Jaime Odon stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Tobias Seguinus came out of the goal and Jaime Odon tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Jaime Odon in the 57th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Tobias Seguinus saved Vilela from getting behind. Andréas Beck hit a great freekick 58 minutes into the match. If Jaime Odon had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 60th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Vilela's Tobias Seguinus played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jaime Odon in the 64th minute of play. Valentin Pero sent away a hard shot on goal in the 66th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Jaime Odon received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 69th minute. Tobias Seguinus tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 71 minutes into the match, Romeo Gilesindo notched a goal, 5-0, to the right of Vilela's Tobias Seguinus. Tobias Seguinus was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ignacio Virila in the 75th minute of play forced Vilela's goalkeeper Tobias Seguinus to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When the match clock showed 77 minutes, the score became 6-0 when Jaime Odon sped through Vilela's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Tobias Seguinus. Tobias Seguinus made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jaime Odon in the 81st minute of play. Ruperto Cordareo took the ball and in the 82 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Tobias Seguinus. Tobias Seguinus dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 7-0. When the match had gone on for 87 minutes, Jaime Odon put it in 8-0 from a short distance just to the right of Tobias Seguinus. Jaime Odon took the ball and in the 93 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Tobias Seguinus. Tobias Seguinus dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 9-0. Jaime Odon recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 98th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. There was no doubt that Club Atlético Lanús were the better team. Club Atlético Lanús's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
